Anniversaries and anniversary gifts

First of all, Happy New Year to all! I know its a bit late but better late than never!
Just before the turn of the new year, the missus and I celebrated our anniversary. We celebrated with a movie, a dinner and, of course, anniversary GIFTS! My gift from her was of course my PSP hehe, which was 3 gifts in one.
I was actually considering engraving a glass for her to use at work but unfortunately, I got banned by the missus to give her any glass engraved gifts for any occasion.
At first I was stumped as to why she slapped such a ban on me but after much thought, I guess it makes sense. Even though I have a skill that is rare, she has seen too much of my work and feels that she deserves something other than what I can make. Something different. Its kinda “sad” that my skill isn’t so special to her anymore. Sigh…
On the other hand, an ex-schoolmate of mine got me to engrave her anniversary gifts for her loved one. She wanted just a simple design, playing on the phrase, “M & M”, the initials of their first names.
I came up with this and she liked it a lot.
She passed me the pair of glasses that she wanted the design to be engraved on and I got to work.
Here’s the final product:
Hope I made her and her husband-to-be happy!
With this, I can now add anniversary gifts to my growing range of “products”:
Customised, glass engravings as :
- birthday gifts
- wedding gifts/favors
- christmas gifts
- anniversary gifts
Medium? Glass of course!
Do send me an email if you’d like me to help you out on creating that extra special gift for that special person!

Actually, it can be boring if every gift from Sir is always engraved glasses.
*chuckles* I’ve not given her any glass engraved gifts ever
In my “defense”, I do appreciate his skill and talent…After all, I reccomend him to friends and stuff….I just feel that if he gives it to me, it’s not as special coz it’s like there was no creativity/effort involved into the thought of the gift…=)
I’m a nightmare of a wife =)
