The final part of my Engravings for Christmas series is a set of four champagne glasses requested by my wife’s friend.

It was sort of a last minute request and I was only given the names the friend wanted to be engraved and the instruction of “just a christmas-sy scene will do”. Hmm…

For this set, I wanted a small challenge to engrave something a little different than the usual engravings that I do.  So I looked around for inspiration and found it on some christmas cards my wife had. It was a set of two pictures of bears. There are not many clear solid lines and the bears are sketched with very fine lines that gives the image a soft feel. This provides the challenge to engrave.
