Addictive Games: Lab Jellies
Mar 12th, 2007 by mark
Games. Everybody loves games, especially addictive ones. Earlier today, a friend of mine broadcasted on his MSN nickname that he created and published a Flash game. Its hosted at the following address: http://www.addictinggames.com/labjellies.html.
Lucky for me, I didn’t try playing the game while I was at work in the office! It’s simple yet highly addictive, trying to line up 5 pieces of jelly getting them to pop before the board gets filled.
So why is this creative? As you know, there has been tons and tons of games created out there, ranging from Flash games to hardcore FPS (First person shooters!) and RTS (Real-Time Strategy!) and how can one forget….the MMORPG (go google that…). And so, my point is, it is quite difficult to design and create a unique game concept that no one else has thought of and a good one at that.
It takes a lot of creative juice to be squeezed out of many heads before a game is created and launched. My friend, aka PC, creator of Lab Jellies, definitely has the creative brains as well as the necessary environment (he works at neopets!)
Who knows maybe in a few years time, he can start his own game producing company. Just a thought.
Well enjoy the game!
p.s. it’s very similar in concept to Hex IT yet different
