10)  Would you say that this current experience has greatly increased your knowledge of marketing your business?
Oh yeah we are all learning all the time. Even though I generated some results now, there is still so much that I don’t know. So never stop learning too many things. That’s another thing why you need to enjoy what you’re doing because there are so much things that come up and you really need, keep on learning them. If u don’t like it then its going to be pretty tough.

11)  Where else do you think you can apply these skills to?
Oh anywhere. Things like, you know, like having the focus to finish the job, get things done, plan your goals. All these things can apply anywhere in life. For example exercise. I work out myself and have to plan my workout to achieve a certain target by a certain date, the right way to do things, strategy to build muscles. It’s the same process anywhere you want to become successful. I wouldn’t say I’m a guru because I think people will say that these are universal principles that you should have.

12) Let’s go down into more details about internet marketing. What are the tools that you use?
MS front page!! I basically use them to create websites. The rest of it are internet marketing stuff like auto-responders, hosting, domain name, download guard, these are specific things that you will probably need along the way while doing internet marketing. All the basic stuff. No expensive equipment.

13)  I’ve read that you have been mentored by an internet marketing guru. Can you elaborate on that?
Not specifically in a sense, I’ve attended seminars. I did sign up for Steven Pearce’s coaching program but its a bit far away because its in the US. Correspondence through email, mp3. There’s a lot of great content there I think I should pick up and use it for myself. Basically it still works there. Stuart Tan, Adam Khoo’s partner is an internet marketing guru, and I can ask him for advice a little now and then but I’m not being taught by them. A lot of it is through reading stuff on the internet, buying programs, learning them, applying them, going to seminars picking up ideas, taking all those ideas n concepts, and making them happen.

14)  You mentioned seminars and courses, what made you go for them?
Well I think we’re all looking for income opportunities, so I’ve been to many of them not just internet marketing seminars, I’ve been to property seminars, options trading as well. It wasn’t internet marketing that I was looking for, as a way to make pretty good money. So I’ve been attending seminars like that. Internet marketing was one of those in between that came along the way and I went for it.

15)  I’m sure a lot of people are very skeptical right now about internet marketing. For you yourself who made $10000 in a week doesn’t that seem a bit unfair? Is it legal or illegal?
What?! It’s legal! I plan to pay my taxes! Yes there are lot of scams on the internet so you have to be careful. You have to look out of certain stuff on the internet, some people just really tell you junk and you pay for it. But all in all, there are pretty good programs, pretty good products on the internet. You’ve got to make sure that these are reputable players and can trust them that they are in it for real. I made US$10000 in 1 week, it’s entirely legal, it’s entirely fair. I’ve put in my fair amount of effort and hard work. It’s all whether you want to do it yourself. So yes the results I’ve experienced are very possible, you know I did it. And its not a big amt of money. There a lot of people on the net who make ten to hundred more times than me in an hour. So for me, I’m just a beginner. Adam Khoo is not an expert in internet marketing either. He just decided to give it a shot and it turned out pretty well

16)  Coming from a well to do background, do you consider that as an unfair or fair advantage?
Well you can’t put causation on whether coming from a good background would automatically mean you will be successful. So many people come from rich families and end up bankrupt and the reverse is also true! A lot of poor people become billionaires. I come from a pretty ok family, not particularly rich. So I think the most important thing is that I have parents who support me. They don’t restrict me from doing a lot of things, I don’t abuse it by doing a lot of stupid things. This type of support gives you the confidence that you can do things. You know there are people who support you all the way. So I think that’s important. But even if you don’t have parents like that so what, if you really want to achieve something, no excuses you just go do it and get it done.

17)  Lets’ go back to your project, what would you have done differently if you could restart your project?
What would I have done differently? I wouldn’t say… I remember asking this question to Adam Khoo himself, “change one thing about your life what would you change?” He said nothing because everything that happened before has led him to where he is today. Everything happens for a reason and well I would say it’s the same for me. In this particular area of internet marketing as well, even though its not perfect, it doesn’t have to be perfect. I’ve made a lot of mistakes a long the way, creating websites and stuff like that but things can be changed. Don’t get caught up about being perfect and getting things rite the first time. You want to actually just do it.

18)  Would you share what you learnt with other people if they came and asked you for it?
Of course I’d definitely share! I think if anyone is brave enough to ask someone for help, deserves help. I think that’s generally what I learnt from Adam. I was a 19 yr old kid, I just went up to him and asked him to be my mentor and he gladly accepted. So I learnt that lesson that, people are eager and willing to learn in theory, you can help them anyway you want. Of course I can’t handle a thousand people at the same time you know! There’s not enough time, there’s only 1 Adam. But yes I would help people.
