Star Wars + Transformers = ?

I was at Metro Paragon earlier this evening before my appointment. What I saw totally left a weird taste in my mouth. As usual, at any departmental store, I made a beeline to the Toys section.
At first glance I saw the familiar shape of my all time favourite Star Wars ship, the Millenium Falcon, as I approached the section. Then it suddenly hit me, “What’s the Transformers logo and name doing on the box?”.
More horror: My beloved Millenium Falcon splits into two and transforms into Han Solo and Chewie!!!
I was stunned all right! So I got my mouth back to its original shape and went looking around. I found more Star Wars Transformers. Slave1/Boba Fett, TIE Fighter/Darth Vader, X-Wing/Luke Skywalker.
Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve got to hand it to Hasbro and StarWars to come up with such a “marriage” of products. Whether or not this will be successful, no one will know for sure, but its out in the market. A check at www.Starwars.com, these toys were launched in January this year.
