In an earlier post, I mentioned two Adams, one of which whom I know personally and one whom I really want to get to know soon!
Adam Khoo and Adam Wong.
Now if you’re in Singapore, I’m sure you’ve heard of Adam Khoo. If you haven’t, well, go to any major bookstore and look for the book “Secrets of Self Made Millionaires“.

Just a short intro, Adam Khoo became a milionaire at age 26. Short enough intro? If you need more, check out www.adam-khoo.com
Now in this editorial, I’ll just focus more on the Adam I know, Adam Wong.
I got to know this rather tall (daunting to me!), handsome, dashing young man in EAP. Oh he’s taken by the way.
Anyway, we were in the same group so to speak. One of the assignments during that course was to find mentors. What Adam did was, he got in touch with Adam Khoo and I guess the rest is history… Adam Wong painstakingly planned out his internet marketing planned, got mentored by an Internet Marketing guru and made his websites. Very well down I would say for someone who is really not IT inclined. That kinda puts me to shame really!
Since I went to his blog a while back, I’ve been kinda monitoring his progress. Really amazing thats all I can say. 9000 USD on a prelaunch only…
How much do you think the main launch will bring in?
Yup, tickle that imagination a bit…*ka ching!* *ka ching!* *ka ching!*
Right now, Adam Wong is the poster boy for Adam Khoo’s programs. That’s right, his photo is in the papers!
We can learn a lot from Adam’s experience, however I would like to focus on just one today.
It is all about taking action. Adam had the guts to ask the other Adam and when the opportunity showed itself, he grabbed it. How many of us, have let opportunity fly by because we were just sitting there, waiting for things to happen.
Just one act of asking Adam Khoo to be his mentor, led to many other events which culminated with the successful internet marketing project launch. I’m sure it will not just end there. “Why?” you may ask.
Simple. Once Adam knows how to be successful in internet marketing, he can apply it over and over and over again, on a multitude of products and services! The difficulty is getting the first step of deciding to take action.
Now you might have a voice at the back of your head saying “oh man, he’s just so lucky” or “Sure he could make it, he knows a millionaire” or “He’s selling someone else’s stuff” or “Nah it won’t work for me”. If that happens, slap yourself a bit and ask yourself these questions: Why can’t I have that kind of luck? Why can’t I get to know a millionaire? Why can’t I get someone else’s permission to sell their stuff?
You will realise that if you ask yourself better questions instead of stating something negative, your mindset changes. You will now think, “Hey I didn’t think of that earlier and now maybe if I put in more effort on thinking what I can do, I can be successful too!” Yes ladies and gentlemen, that’s the attitude that makes the difference.
Things don’t happen if we don’t make it happen.
Adam has made it happen.
So can you and so can I.
Congrats Adam! www.adam-wong.com
Just like to say that in my opinion the prelaunch is where the money is mainly made. Because the hype is all gathered there. Preparing and amassing the email lists for that prelaunch (actually u can call it launch). Thats what the internet gurus do to specifically generate sales on a particular day so that their printed books get bestseller status on amazon. =)
Hi Alvin,
First of all, thanks for coming by to read.
On Adam’s strategy, I don’t think that’s just where the money is being made. More like the starter of it all. Of course you can’t just do a prelaunch and then do a launch with the same thing… things must be done to change the deal a little i guess or to sweeten things even more.
Anyway are you doing any internet marketing or affiliate marketing biz?
Hi Mark,
Sure no problem. Interesting blog/site you have here. Assume you would be building up on the number of interviews as you go alone yah.
Ahh yes get what you mean. The list that they have is valuable, esp when they do upsells and sweeteners like you mentioned.
Yes i’m into integrated internet marketing, more so into the retailing of physical products than digital products at the moment.
Hi again Alvin,
Yes under the Interviews section there are more businesses that I have interviewed in varying industries. Feel free to have a look!
